The Indian Falls Creek Baptist Assembly was begun in 1947 and has met on the Falls Creek grounds every year since that date except 1955 when it met at Kiamichi Baptist Assembly, Talihina. Registration at the first encampment totaled 333 and today has several thousand in attendance. Each year Native American and First Nations brothers and sisters come from all over the United States and North America. From year to year the camp will even

have indigenous believers from South America and countries from around the globe. The five-day camp starts on a Monday and runs through Friday. Costs are kept to a minimum to allow all who desire to attend to participate. Each year many children, youth, and adults find eternal life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Each day is started with a sunrise service and devotion, followed by a morning full of worship, Bible study, and conferences pertinent to Native Christians. Each afternoon is full of recreation as Indian Churches team up for softball and volleyball tournaments. For those wishing to escape the heat of the Oklahoma sun, the swimming pool is a welcomed relief. The evening is filled with worship and late evening cabin devotions leaving everyone ready for lights out by 11:30 p.m. We hope you can come be a part!

A Challenge for the Future

A special challenge was made at camp to individuals, churches, and groups to prayerfully consider making a commitment to pledge $5 or $10 over the next 12 months.  The goal is to receive 500 - $5 pledges for a total of $30,000 and 500 - $10 pledges for a total of $60,000.  A major concern is to keep the registration costs as low as possible. These extra funds would greatly assist in this effort.

Thanks to all who met this challenge by making a commitment towards assisting in the camp budget.  If you did not make a pledge, it’s not too late. We making this an annual challenge.   You may choose to make a one-time donation or send in your pledge quarterly.  Whatever, your choice, please take time to complete the enclosed Pledge Commitment Card and mail it to the IFC Treasurer to:

Calling All Prayer Warriors

Please make a commitment to pray for this year’s board members.  We covet your prayers.  All members are volunteers and will be traveling to many meetings all across Oklahoma at their own expense.  Please lift them up in prayer for safety in traveling and as we seek God’s leadership.  If your church would like to host an IFC meeting, please contact us.
A current list of this year’s IFC Board is provided in this mailing.
