A Note from Victor

(2006 pre-camp update)

Indian Falls Creek 2006 will be July 31 - August 4. Pray for and make plans to attend next year. I and the IFC Board of Directors will begin working on Indian Falls Creek 2006 on September 17th. Please pray that God will direct our thoughts to His perfect will. Two ideas were introduced at camp in preparation for IFC 2006. Each church that attended was challenged to bring 10 more people to camp next year. On the average IFC draws at least 85 to 100 of our churches each summer. If we bring the  extra 850 people next year and we add this years attendance (2,645), the total attendance would be 3,495 and that number would be the largest attended camp at IFC ever. I want to see us (IFC) fill the amphitheater and eventually the new tabernacle up each year just like the youth weeks. Pray that God will help us do the impossible.

Indian Falls Creek 2005

PRAISE REPORT! Indian Falls Creek 2005 was our 5th largest attended camp with 2,645 coming through the gate. Praise God! We also saw God save 194 souls, 63 renew their commitment to God, 15 come for special service and 27 other decisions were recorded. To God be the glory! We also saw the resumption of a old Baptist tradition, baptizing in the creek. Brother Jimmy Anderson, a patriarch of our Indian Baptist work, baptized three that were saved at camp. Hallelujah! We got to hear brother Clint Sinclair bring powerful messages each night that filled the alter to overflowing with people responding to God's Word. Thanks be to God for His powerful word. We saw over 1,000 students in the high school section and 500 children attending VBS and Children's Church. Praise God for the churches and sponsors who brought their children and youth to camp. We were privileged to worship in the new amphitheater that God has built at camp. The facility is beautiful and much cooler than the old tabernacle. Praise God for our BGCO leadership that followed the vision God put on their hearts! On Thursday night of camp the whole congregation was challenged to support Indian Falls Creek financially through out the year. Bill Barnett estimated that 1500 to 1600 people stood in support of this plan. The plan is for 500 people to support IFC with a $5 pledge per month for a year, and another 500 people to give $10 a month for a year.We are hoping that our people will support this effort on a large scale. All generated gifts will be used to make IFC a better camp.
